Jaw-dropping location with beach and bars in walking distance. Super clean ensuite rooms with hot showers. Amazing staff. Modern facilities including chill out area on roof. Owner went above and beyond to help us retrieve lost camera. Highly recommend!

Every room at Urchin Unawatuna is equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom, which was great for keeping cool and having some privacy with my little ones. The bed linen and towels provided were also a nice touch, saving us from having to pack our own. Plus, the rooms had a wardrobe to keep our belongings organized.
Personally, I found one feature of the room less enjoyable. But hey, it's just my opinion, others might still like it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hostel in Sri Lanka. It was perfectly located just a short walk from the peaceful ocean and soft sands of the beach. the manager, Ruchira, was incredibly helpful and made my trip so much easier and better. the hostel itself was beautifully designed with a mix of Dutch architecture and minimalistic luxury. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was even a kitchen and terrace to enjoy. the atmosphere was amazing, with lots of greenery and a peaceful vibe. I can't wait to come back here on my next trip to Sri Lanka. Cons: Nothing, all great! .
